No doubt you have now tested the ages filter, thanks to the FaceApp application. It is a smart phone application that uses artificial intelligence to show the shape a person may look at any time soon. But if you think the app. is a new phenomenon and safe, think again.

Since the launch of the application for the first time in 2017, users were given the ability to emulate different species. You can add a smile to a photo, see how it looks through explosions, or test a beard.

Not long after, the company found itself in hot water after it launched racial filters. Anyone could submit a photo and try on filters that made them Asian, black, white or Indian.

The internet reacted quickly, and users were quick to condemn the app.

So, if not all the current privacy concerns about FaceApp are enough to convince you to delete the app, the fact that its founders thought the ideas above were good ideas might be enough to drive you to the limit.
